Participants will learn about the heterogenous presentations of sciatica, how to differentiate these clinically and how to target treatments to individual patients.

- To understand the heterogeneity of sciatica and confidently use the terminology of radicular pain, radiculopathy and somatic referred pain in the correct context.
- To be familiar with the clinical framework for subgrouping different types of spinally referred pain and to use clinical assessment to guide subgrouping.
- To understand the contemporary evidence for management of patients with sciatica.
